An outpouring of love and sadness from great writers, thinkers and artists
Coronet Books, an imprint of Hodder & Stoughton, has commissioned a collection of love letters to Europe from contributors including JK Rowling, Melvyn Bragg, Neil Gaiman, and Sebastian Faulks, to be published on Brexit deadline day.
These household names are amongst contributors who have come together to give a voice to their thoughts, hopes and feelings towards Europe. Publisher, Mark Booth, said some of the contributions were expressions of affection for a particular place, others were deeply personal stories, but all were passionate about the continent.
Frank Cottrell Boyce, Melvyn Bragg, Margaret Drabble, Alan Hollinghurst, Will Hutton, Holly Johnson, Penelope Lively, Jonathan Meades, Deborah Moggach, Alan Moore, Jackie Morris, Cathy Rentzenbrink, Chris Riddle, Tony Robinson, Pete Townshend, Kate Williams, Michael Wood, Sebastian Faulks, and many more…
A Love Letter to Europe will be released in hardback and e-book on 31st October. Find out more and pre-order your copy here.
